2017 Browns Rookie Camp News on Garrett, Peppers, Njoku, Kizer…

Twitter @CFBMetrics

As I am doing research for dynasty rookie drafts, I come across some articles and notes from local reporters on lesser-covered or off the beaten track rookies at training camps…or just nice observation notes on all the young players. I’m going to share some of them with you on players you might be interested in…

Some nice quick hit notes on several Browns players from minicamp. Everyone I’ve spoken with has been glowing about Myles Garrett’s first rookie camp.

Or Jatavis Brown and Sean Davis as top defensive prospects in 2016? Who else railed against Laquon Treadwell and Jameis Winston from the jump in their draft years? What will we discover with our computer scouting models in 2017?

For a completely different scouting service, visit collegefootballmetrics.com. Originally designed for NFL personnel departments, it has become home to the high stakes dynasty and fantasy profiteers – come see why that one person in your league always finds all those players ahead of everyone else…or become that person.

An Interesting Piece on the Browns’ Future Franchise QB Not Named Manziel…

Twitter @CFBMetrics This is a nice piece (below) on the Cleveland Browns’ diminutive, highly-mobile, future franchise QB…Connor Shaw. You probably think I am joking…I am mostly not. I wouldn’t bet on it, because this is the same NFL franchise that took Johnny Manziel on purpose. I’ve said it, and written it, dozens of time this […].. Continue reading→

2014 Undrafted Free Agent (UDFA) Commentary: Cleveland Browns

Twitter @CFBMetrics I think South Carolina QB Connor Shaw was the best UDFA signing of 2014. Not because he is the single best player (but he is really good), but because he is the perfect backup to Johnny Manziel.
