More Kyle Sloter Love…

Twitter @CFBMetrics

As I am doing research for dynasty rookie drafts, I come across some articles and notes from local reporters on lesser-covered or off the beaten track rookies at training camps…or just nice observation notes on all the young players. I’m going to share some of them with you on players you might be interested in...

This week in Denver, and nowhere else in the mainstream football media or fantasy-land, there has been a mild brouhaha over Vance Joseph shutting down any talk of Kyle Sloter being considered in the QB sweepstakes for the Broncos this season. Because coaches are geniuses, and are constantly talking about ‘best players playing‘ and how important hard work is, blah-blah-blah…Vance Joseph instantly squashed Kyle Sloter as a possible starter the first moment he was asked by the media. Super smart management. After being the Broncos best QB in Week 1 of the preseason — and according to a few people, the best QB of the entire preseason…it gets a UDFA nothing. Not even a twinkle of hope from the boss. Vance Joseph has his mind made up from months ago. Only draft status matters. Mike Mayock secretly ruins the entire league (except NE and DAL), and I’m so glad because all these Notre Dame players entering the league are really worth the hype...

Denver fans and media members are starting to take up their pitchforks and torches for Sloter — and I love it. Enjoy this article from The Garden City Telegram…you’re going to learn at least two things about Sloter you probably didn’t know — about his preseason work ethic and another about his IQ.

Just like Trubisky over Glennon, and anyone over Bortles…Sloter is going to be the Denver QB, it’s just a matter of when the team wants to admit it.

Who else railed against Laquon Treadwell and Jameis Winston from the jump in their draft years? What will we discover with our computer scouting models in 2017?
